What a lovely collection of poems. I'm not a reader of poetry usually, but I downloaded this collection free from Smashwords, and I'm glad I did. Lori Osterman has a way with words that will stir up all sorts of emotions. At times I could feel tears coming to my eyes, at other times, I was smiling. This book is written to uplift, motivate and inspire, and it does all those things, in my opinion. I'll definitely consider purchasing this as a gift in the future.
Best read as an adjunct to Ms. Newman's memoir, "Here All Along," this volume of poems describes Ms. Newman's love for her daughters, her battles with abusive former husbands and a significant amount of personal growth through it all.

Nicely done rhymes, with some bonus material at the end in which Ms. Newman shares funny tales about her kids. Good work all the way around.

Her poems are very heartfelt.
