* I received a copy of this book from Breathless Press in exchange for an honest review*

Margarine “Margie” Butter has been dreaming of owning her own home for as long as she can remember. She has the worst luck though and keeps losing her jobs; she’ll never save enough money at this rate. Now the sexy stranger she ran into at the diner has cost her not one but two jobs and he wants to make it up to her. The job pays well and the perks aren’t too bad either.

Can you imagine a more unusual name for a main character: Margarine Butter? Well, it's here, in this story about a woman who was born and raised in a biker gang and who is now trying to find a way to make her life-long dream of a house of her own a reality. She's beautiful, smart, and fiercely independent, and her determination to succeed is almost overwhelming. Unfortunately, so is her bad luck. This is a story of a woman who has come out of an upbringing that is just about as unusual as any I...more

Fun easy read! Although I felt bad that her name was Margarine Butter! Like really..wth, lol! She had the worst luck ever and couldn't catch a break that is until she met Remy! She was just a girl trying to do for herself and make it out on her own and fulfill her dreams. No matter how many times she was down on her luck, she would pick herself back up and keep going! He was tired of women constantly throwing themselves at him for his money. I really liked Margie & Remy together and their re...more

The title intrigued me, the heroine’s name hooked me but the story enthralled and thoroughly entertained me. Biker Babe in Black is a cute, romantic and well written tale that surprised me with its humor, heart and ability to engage my emotions.

Margarine Butter a/k/a Margie was a delightful revelation. Yes, Ms. Kayn had a field day with butter jokes but a reader soon gets past that to the woman underneath and the complex feelings she...more

this was almost like reading a fairy tale. When Remy found Margie, he was entranced and wanted to know more about her. Margie was looking to find her place in the world and she wanted something of her own. There are ups and downs, but in the end..........You'll just have to read the book. Debra is an amazing author. I'm loving her books.

Debra Kayn has a very down to earth sense of humor. I know this book is in transition, and not available currently as formerly published, but I recommend this story for a nice, relaxing, world away from chaos. I plan to start book two of the series shortly. I'll stop in again to share my thoughts.
