“The Wolf Prince” by Karen Kelly

Darcey has had no choice but to lie to her mother and tell her that she has a boyfriend, so her mother will stop asking when she will meet someone. Darcey also confides to her best friend about her mother harping on her about not having a man. Right after Darcey hangs up the phone with her best friend, she ends up staring down the eyes of a wolf. Befo More...

The Wolf Prince, third book in the Princes of Symtaria series, but is a stand alone read. Ms. Kelley combines two aspects of shape shifting and aliens to weave a light paranormal read interspersed with her trademark humor that as readers we have come to expect.

Darcey Spencer is a licensed PI who aspires to have her own practice one day, runs into a wolf on her parent’s country estate but before it can attack her she is shrouded in fog and then confronted with a naked man, who she pro More...

It was the cover that caught my eye when I first got a look at this book. This is the first book I've read by this author. I wasn't lost in the story even though there is three books prior to this one. Which makes me think that they could be read as stand alones, but probably more enjoyable if read in order. I think that would of helped me understand who some of the characters were. I thought the story was cute. I found myself laughing and that's always a plus. A light read that only took a li More...

Good read - action based plot. Alien shapeshifter hero with amnesia - heroine is a wealthy heiress who wants someone to love her, not her money. After hitting our hero over the head with a branch when he startled her - thus giving him amnesia - what could she do but take him home with her?

Fast read, 3rd in the series but series can be read out of order.

Princes of Symtaria
1. The Jaguar Prince
2. The Falcon Prince
3. The Wolf Prince

This would be a good story for a made-for-TV movie to air on some channel like Lifetime. (And they should cast Adrian Paul as the Wolf Prince.) However fun it was though, the story was just not very believable to the point of being silly. There were good scenes but it was as if they belonged in a different story.

I love this book. Everything about it is so captivating. It had everything from romance to comedy...The main characters were wonderful, I love the chemistry and relationship that Darcy and Surlock have. I didn't read the first two books to this series, but after reading this book, I will definitely have to get it! ;D

The pace of this book is SO SLOW! It's taken forever to read. I don't recommend for night reading. Soon as I open the book, it puts me to sleep. I kept waiting for it to get better but unfortunately, it never did. It's the worst book I've read all year! Like watching paint dry! The characters weren't developed well which is why I didn't care whether they stayed together or were apart.

I won this book on Goodreads Giveaway. Thanks Goodreads and Kensington!

I really enjoyed this book. The beginning really sucked me in. It had everything, romance, action, and comedy. I loved how everything began to come together as the story progressed. The relationship between Darcy and Surlock is steamy and just amazing. Darcy is perhaps one of my favorite heroines. She wasn't annoying or anything. Just plain awesome. You don't get a heroine like her in many books. Surlock is sexy, More...

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a huge fan of sci-fi romance; vampires yes, werewolves yes, aliens and other planets: not too fond of. That being said, I couldn’t stop reading this book! The sci-fi influence takes a back seat to the great story told in The Wolf Prince. Darcy and Surlock’s chemistry is nothing short of scorching! I’ll definitely be adding the first two to my “to be read” list!

I wanted to really like this story, but it was just OK for me. Had some cute funny moments with likable characters. The romance between Darcy and Surlock develops nicely throughout the story, but there is nothing scorching here. Not a keeper ~ just a quick somewhat enjoyable read-once book.
