This book has surprised me so far, and I ended up ordering a copy to look at more at length. I expected and anticipated hearing things like, "Referring to God with only male pronouns, limits females' (and males') experience in church," etc. (That is my own quote.) What I didn't expect was this one thing they've said, which was: the best way to encourage women is to encourage their own, personal relationships WITH God. As in, this is a way to encourage feminism in "the church...!"
