Cass Leigh writes sensationalist gothic horror books, she's slightly odd with a penchant for velvet cloaks and walking in graveyards during the night. 2/9/09 First read: I do enjoy these quirky British romances from Trisha Ashley--they are crazy fun!

12/19/14 Re-read, and giggled throughout. So glad to have my OWN copy! (Had to rely on ILL for previous reads.) This is one of my favorites of hers.

I thought that this one was a very funny escape read. The heroine writes horror fiction, which she gets ideas for throughout the book while finding true love. A quirkly, light read (with literary allusions).

It took me a while to get into this book (I think because it is SO similar to the other book I've read by this author!) but once I did, it was a lot of fun.

I wasn't very impressed with this book. There was too much going on and it felt like I was reading a sequel and was missing a lot of information.

2.5 I patiently waited for this book to get good. The plot had potential, but the most I can say about it is that it was extraneously wordy.
