So this book's premise is a little far-fetched even for a romance novel. A wealthy hotel heiress tries to break with her fairly awful family by buying a ranch and remodeling it to be a hotel. She's nearly broke and needs to learn how to manage her ranch. What's a girl to do but marry her hunky neighbor (so long as he agrees to no sex) and put up half her property as a prenump?

No, the plot is not terribly impressive, however Allison Leigh does a good job of crafting two believable characters. She
I love marriage of convenience stories (and Christmas stories), but this one was a bust. The character's motivations weren't clear. Why couldn't the heroine just have entered into a business partnership with the hero? Why did she want to pretend to be married? Why did he insist on actually getting married? Why did they initially hate each other? I was left wondering if I'd missed something. I wonder if this was a sequel book, because it read like one.

Cute "no-branier" romance. Enjoyable and easy to read.

A frequent name on bestseller lists, Allison Leigh's highpoint as a writer is hearing from readers that they laughed, cried or lost sleep while reading her books. She’s blessed with an immensely patient family who doesn’t mind (much) her time spent at her computer and who gives her the kind of love she wants her readers to share in every page. Stay in touch at
