Alica soll die Weihnachtsferien auf dem Rittergut ihrer Großeltern Maria und Carl verbringen. Zuerst ist die Vierzehnjährige nicht sehr erfreut darüber, da sie sich es todlangweilig weit draußen auf dem Land vorstellt. Angekommen auf dem Gut in der Eifel begegnet Alica einem Geisterfalken der dort sein Unwesen treibt. Zusammen mit dem Heinzelmann Wallerich und der Möwe Schnapper wollen sie den mysteriösen Falken erlösen.

Dieses Buch ist eine leicht überarbeitete Neuausgabe von “Alica und die Dunkle Königin” und spielt kurz vor Weihnachten in der Eifel. Der Zugang zu Alica ist mir sehr leicht gefallen, vielleicht auch weil sie in einer schwierigen familiären Situation zu ihren Großeltern “abgeschoben” wird. Wem gefällt das schon, vor allem wenn man ein recht angespanntes Verhältnis zum Großvater hat?
Bereits nach ein paar Seiten steckte ich tief in der Geschichte und konnte mich kaum von dem Roman trenne More...

Young Alica stands all alone at the train station and waits for her grandparents but no one comes to pick her up. She sets off all alone and through the rain to the old manor where her grandparents live. This was my first fantasy book by Bernhard Hennen.
It was good, the story was really good, exciting and there were so many great ideas I really enjoyed the journey.
Alica, the main character, was a brave 14 year old girl who had the adventure of her life.
The fact she was 14 was that I couldn't go with all her feelings because 14 is way back for me. ;) Also the small love story in the book...for a 14 year old girl she was so deeply in love...I would have liked it if s More...

Portals, time travel, ghosts, talking animals, and an ancient Celtic goddess. I liked how the Heinzelmänner and the Kobolde were at odds with each other, yet the MC Alicia was able to be friend with them all.
