A quaint story - and what I mean by that is the descriptive passages which would place the reader in the time period of the story. It almost reads like a local folk tale, complete with some not so nice people and all, and the wonderfully magical element of the mysterious cupboard. Shades of Narnia here.

I enjoyed this little story, just the perfect thing for reading on a cold night.

A great sequel to Parsley Sage, Rosemary and Time. I wasn't certain at first, although her remarkable touch with characterisation drew me in, but that cupboard.... I want one to go next to my wardrobes. And the ending is the most magical thing of all.
