Del Jakes is ready to cast off her widow’s weeds and start living again when she is pulled in to help investigate the disappearance of a childhood friend.

The author’s website is great-beach-reads.com, but this is more than just a book for the beach. It’s great holiday/vacation reading regardless of the season and location. I read Leave Me Gasping in one sitting, curled up on the couch in front of the fire.

A fast-paced and entertaining mystery. Check it out.

I just finished Leave me Gasping by T.C.Beacham, a fun little mystery. It's set in Tampa, Florida and was quite descriptive of Gulf Coast life. I liked that the lead character was approximately my age, a rarity, but that she interacted with people of all ages.

I enjoyed reading this book never read anything by TC Beacham. Del was a great character and hope we see more of her. Lucy is a riot and Ry well hopefully we see what that goes with Del. I hope we see another book soon.
I really enjoyed relaxing with this great beach book. Del Jakes is fun, down-to-earth and resourceful!
