É fantástico ler sobre a saga dos Terra, principalmente tendo em conta que o pano de fundo são os acontecimentos principais da formação do Rio Grande do Sul e Brasil. Tem os elementos que me prendem a uma história: aventura, guerra e romance. Além do mais, por contar coisas tão próximas à gente, o livro torna-se de maior relevância ainda.
A série "O tempo e o vento" é simplesmente fantástica! Um relato histórico maravilhoso sobre a formação do Rio Grande do Sul e também do Brasil.

A obra completa "O tempo e o vento" é maravilhosa.
A really nice beginning to the saga of a Rio Grande do Sul family, with surprisingly well-rounded characters despite their number (and the editor of this edition was nice enough to include a family tree at the beginning, which makes it easier to keep 'em all straight). I'm looking forward to getting to the I don't know how many more volumes.
An Epic that tells the story of generations of a family of Rio Grande do Sul (a brazilian southern state). This is one of the best books I ever read, it's storyline seems to be like 'Cien años de soledade', but may be even better.
