I found this book about a year ago for a dollar in a thrift store. I didn't expect much (author I'd never heard of, super generic title, etc.), and didn't get around to reading it for a year or so. I couldn't believe how wrong I was in my lack of expectations. This Bischoff fella is a phenomenal writer, and after looking him up I realized my ignorance of his existence could only be blamed on just that: my own ignorance.

In my opinion this type of political thriller is better than most mainstream
