For short stories, they were good, but I would rather have had a full novel.

Read in September, 2008

A collection of short stories meant to transition the Myth universe from being solely written by Robert Asprin to the collaborative efforts of Asprin and Judy Lynn Nye, the stories in this collection are very up and down, quite a bit like the last few novels that preceded this collection and all of those that have followed after. Some of the stories are amusing, but most fail to capture the spirit that made the early books in the series so much fun to read.

Instead of a full-length novel, this book was composed of small short stories. While some were clever, and all were well-written, there was not much humor, mystery, or suspense in any of the stories.
