In this volume, we finally get to hear the true story of Ceres' past and her relationship with the Progenitor. It's an age old story, and it doesn't have a happy ending. More characters die, and things don't look so good for Mikage, either. It will be very interesting to see how they wrap all of this up in the next volume, and what fate lies in store for Aya, Aki, and Toya.

Yuu Watase is an amazing storyteller and draws some gorgeous artwork! She is one of my favorite manga authors and I love everything she has done. The characters in Ceres are amazing and imaginative and extremely easy to relate to. She is able to capture the character’s emotions amazingly with a realistic outlook on life. Lots of history explored here, especially the story between Ceres and Mikage, and as this is the second to last book, things REALLY heat up as they must inevitably do... woo!

I watched and loved the Anime version of this since I was a kid. It also landed on my favorites.

For now, I got no plans for buying a copy.
