Oh! Thank heavens! This books seems to be the end of the lab breeding back story--I liked it but there is only so much you can say and only so much mystery while still keeping it interesting for the reader. I was thrilled with the new developments in this book.

This book sucked the big cheese. I'm am in no way a prude but it's a little hard to take your heroine seriously when she is running around naked the ENTIRE book. How awkward. Esp. when she's constantly fighting gladiator style. The whole time I thought; "well, I guess it's a good thing she doesn't have balls or a hairy ass crack."

Recommends it for:
PNR and UF fans who aren't squeamish about sex scenes
I've read mixed reviews on this series but I did like this book. Riley is part of the team investigating genetic experiments being carried out on shifters and Riley manages to get a job inside the offender's mansion as a fighter-entertainment for rich lunatics to enjoy watching. Once inside Riley is trying to find the main labs through psychic exploration of her guards minds during sex, locate a child hostage and help a race of creatures to escape, all without raising suspicion. I did enjoy this book but some parts of it went right thru me and the storyline started to bore me a little but the ending of this book was great took a nice little twist that got me interested again, hopefully the next book will start a new story.

Come gongolo. Ho trovato, finalmente, una serie urban fantasy che mi sta piacendo molto. Tre romanzi della serie con voti alti, anche questo ha ben 4 cuoricini. Riley Jenson, you kick butt!
I usually find that most series that end up as my favorites, it’s usually book 3 that seems to be the magic number. And that is once again the case with Riley Jenson. I really enjoyed book 1 and 2, but book 3 just lifted this series onto my favorite’s shelf.

Again with the Quinn! I really like him even if he tends to be a pain in the butt about her being a werewolf and therefore not monogamous. He’s been told and yet he continually has to be a pain about it.

This is the third book in the Riley Jenson series and I have mixed feelings about it. This book starts right where it left off with Riley – half vampire, half werewolf – in training with the Directorate to become a guardian. I can't quite put my finger on what makes me enjoy the series more than many other 5+ book urban fantasy series out there, but there is something good at work here. I enjoyed Tempting Evil immensely, and I'm glad I read it. This novel picks up right where the last one left off. Riley is training to be a guardian (whether she likes it or not) so that she can infiltrate the lair of the man behind the labs and killings mentioned in the previous novels. Just as Riley is accepting that her life is leading her into being a guardian, she is thrust into her first undercover operations. Although her need to see this through is what has kept her going these past months, she may not be ready for what she discovers.

This was perhaps the best instalment so far in the Riley Jensen Guardian Series. The plot had more depth than previous books in the series, less sex and more story. Not that sex didn't feature, this is a Riley Jensen story after all.

I liked it less then the previous book in the series. The premise was a little harder to get into. I get that this is not to be taken seriously and a big point of this books is to have lots of sex scenes but Riley running around naked for the most of the book - and it making sense for the organization to enforce that and all, was kind of a stretch.

Infiltrating the grounds as whores and arena fighters, toys for the crossbred freaks with interesting body part accessories, and sexual sadists who apparently enjoy raping women not only when they're screaming in fear and pain, but also as they are knocked out unconscious.

This book, actually this series is not for everyone. The subject matter dealt with can be offensive to anyone that cannot put aside their own personal feeling about sex and using ones body to achieve their goals. This particular book has scenes of rape and hand to hand combat death matches. It's not all about romance, rainbows and unicorns. I am beginning to wonder if I even should have bothered. The main character Riley was an army to herself, and had to sell her body for intelligence. Very different from book one of the series where she felt like a whore. I don't like how free she was in this one, meaning she wore like no clothing for the job. Though I do like how the story arc from the previous books finally ended, but I found it difficult to focus when I felt awkward for the character.

It's hard to like a book when you don't really like the main character: Riley Jenson. All she seems to do (from the 1st book all the way through the 4th book - Dangerous Games) is complain, complain, and COMPLAIN about how she doesn't want to be a Guardian, and how she thinks her lover Quinn is too narrow-minded when he doesn't want her to have sex indiscrimmiantly.
