I read this book several years ago and I loved it, it spoke to me even then... but recently I have re-read it with new insight and understanding. At any point to which you are at, I feel like this book has good advice to offer.
This book talks about being patient and letting God handle one of the most important aspects of our lives, our "love story". It also talks about appreciating our time of "singleness"... giving those that are not in relationships new perspecitve.

i remember reading this book in my most saddest time in my life as i still reminiscing the past...of what had happened between me and my ex... as i still searching and waiting for the right rather real person to come again in my life...i know God is sitll wrapping for us the perfect gift he can give to us...we must not wait even if it takes years for the perfect one to come...i know it is a very long journey but i guess it is worth the wait.. we often meet few wrong people before meeting the ri...more

This is a well written book, and the authors are very engaging, but it's not for everyone. It is excellent for one who has been brought up with recreational dating, and the maintenance of virginity as the standard for purity. The point is that God loves us more than anyone else possibly could and would always do what is best for us; therefore, we should look to Him in matters of "guy/girl relationship." However, if one has grown up with cautions against dating, and calls to courtship w...more

recommends it for: anyone struggling to understand Christian dating
This book really came through for me when I was in a relationship/lack of self esteem rut last year. IKDG was extreme although that book had some interesting insights. This book however, was like a story of what I Kissed Dating Goodbye was trying to say. The book goes back and forth between the two authors giving the reader both a female and male perspective on dating and its struggles while finally getting into a relationship. A lot of the points/temptations/struggles they talk about in the...more

recommends it for: you who waiting for soulmates
hmm..my friend recommended this book to me. the sentences were simple and i could get the point easily. the important thing is, I found new concept about waiting soul mate, holiness, and relationship with God. Their story (Eric and Leslie Ludy) just like our story. How can we be patient when we waiting for our soul mate? How can we keep holiness when we have a relationship and why we have to? They gave the answers.

Then, at the beginning start with the concept how to face life as single. Next s...more

i bought this when i was a freshman in college (you know how that is... all wide eyed and bushy tailed away from home and independent at a christian college, feeling inspired by crap that looks like this, chose merely by the cover), never touched it. so now, 8 years later, figured i'd give it a shot, against all that looks ew about it. but as it turns out, i'm 26 and a self-thinking educated individual who's fairly liberal, which apparently isn't the right combination for this book's appeal. i...more

When God writes our love story, He doesn't need our help. Just put the pen and let Him write it.

If we focus ourselves to God, the struggle of the flesh is bearable by His grace and mercy.

The verse, "She will love him all the days of his life" means
even if you have not yet meet your partner in life you showed your love to him by simply preserving yourselves-body, mind and heart for God and for him.

Benernya sih buku "When God Writes Your Love Story" yg aku maksud bukan yg ini, tp yg covernya warna hijau, dikarang Eric Ludy + istrinya Leslie.
Buku ini mengajarkan prinsip2 yang harus diimani saat mencari pasangan hidup.
Tuhan pasti akan memberikan pilihan yg terbaik, bagi orang yang mempercayakan hak pilih itu kepadanya.
God knows the best =)

A little too Lovey-Dovey for me. I think I got sick a couple of times. After reading this, I promised myself that I would never read another book about singles again.

The Biblical truths were great. The writing gave me the warm fuzzies...and not the good kind. I had the pepto on hand every time I read a chapter.

I absolutely loved this book. It made my cry, it made me laugh, it made me want God to just take control of my love life completely. After all, He is the Author of Love. It's a great book for young Christian teens who are struggling to understand relationships. Let God write your love story =)

This book was actually purchased specifically for me to read. The girl had good intentions, but this book SUCKS. Oversimplistic, stereotypical, shallow-faithed approach to artificial Christian relationships. Enjoy. But please don't take the book seriously.

Eric and Leslie Ludy give a well written (and sometimes even humerous) approach to Godly Guy/Girl Relationships.
Their style of writing is very open and it almost seems like they're sitting there talking to you! :)

Being single in today's world is really hard. Especially when you're Christian. I started reading these books at a time when I really needed a solid foundation in the area of personal relationships with men.

This book so far is an amazing book that opens young adults' eyes to the world of God, and his presense in your love life....you'd be suprised how much he truly plays a part in it...if you let Him.

This is the best of all the "dating/courtship" books I have ever read. The Ludys are incredible communicators, and have truly the most biblically-sound view of life and love that I have yet found.

Okay, I was in eighth grade when I read this, but it changed my world. The best part is that it's written by husband and wife so you get both perspectives, a "good read" for both sexes.

I read this right after graduating from college. It was a gift from a friend I really respected, and I think it did for me that others have described "I Kissed Dating Good-bye" did for them.

It was okay...typical Christian advice on dating and romance; nothing truly spectacular sets it apart from the plethora of self-help/dating advice books available at booksellers world-wide.
