This book started really strong, the first few essays were excellent, but some of the later material was not as well done. The issue is not the theology or the call to think critically, to think theologically, I agree with that completely, it is just that some of the later essays are not written as well. However Ben Witherington's essay is exceptional and Steve Moore's introduction and essay are also very good. Other essays are good as well.
