Loved the book.Of couse when one reads the first book you need to continue on to the next and then the next to see what happens. One think I like about the books they are typical of small towns and large cities also, but not as noticible as a small town. Don't get me wrong I am not knocking small towns, I was raised in one., but you are going to find a Vinny and a Donna and yes even a Lisa LeAnn. It just goes to show that even though a person is a Christian, they are not perfect. We all have s More...

Received this in a random prize drawing and I haven't read the original book from this series. Although fiction, it's based in a small CO town and having lived in CO for a time, the setting was enjoyable. There was a lot to like in the characters and their real life circumstances aka 'dirt' that the local reporter is always trying to uncover. The ending for this was just so, so. It didn't tie things up neatly or end in a cliffhanger. I didn't rush out to get the next book, but did read it when I More...

Like the first of the series, this book is more of the same. However, it seems to be more melodrama rather than prayer. Again, I appreciate the recipes, some food items even prompting me to go into the kitchen to cook up the delicious treat talked of in the book. Though, what a horrid place to end the story! Ha-ha...it's such a tease. Speaking of teasers, if the one for the third book is as I think it's forecast, it may be irreparable for one of the potluck ladies. :( Anyway, thanks to the autho More...

I just love this series. I love the characters, the fact that it is a chrisitan book without out all language and sex and the recipes at the end. This series reminds me of my knitting group and the fact that we are all different ages and backgrounds and come to gether for fellowship, friendship and food. We inspire, listen and create wonderful friendships and projects together.

I can relate to the ladies of the Potluck Club so well. We all have our secrets, our past pains that keep us from being able to move on, and if we are so blessed-a group of friends that will love us through all of it. I highly recommend reading the series in order and dare you to keep from associating each of the characters, with someone you know in real life. :)

This makes me want to change my life and get some secrets and have my own potluck club!! I love books that make me feel like a part of something or that I want something. Great book! I need to go back and find the first book in the series.

I had a harder time enjoying this book than the first. I don't think it was the book or the author's fault though... I think I left too much time in between reading the first and second (as well as reading lots of other books) so that I had forgotten the basic plot/characters from the first... and there is definitely a continuation

The second in a series of three. Got to know the members of the potluck club so now more involved. Once again I liked the recipes included.

More predictable and churchy than the last one. Still a nice mindless read, but nothing to write home about or rush out and get.

Sequel to the Potluck Club. Their recipes are fun and easy. It's fun to try the recipes after reading about them in the story.

I LOVED this book! The club got themselves into quite a few more pickles! These ladies really keep me entertained!

These are light reads but doesn't really challenge your spiritually and some of the writing is cheesy.

My mom picked this book out for me from the library and I thought that it was ok. It ended kind of abruptly, I guess because they want you to read the next book in the series.

Second installment in the Potluck Club series. This one really left us with a bunch of cliffhangers. I guess I'll have to get the third book soon.

More "troubles" for the gals of the Potluck Club. I liked this book better than the first, as the plots deepened and became a little more in depth. This is definitely better read after the first book so you know what's going on, though the authors do attempt to give explanations. My favorite line has to be the tourist who said of hitting a deer on the road to Breckenridge: "I didn't know they had deer thingys here . . . someone should have told us. And they should put them be More...

I enjoyed book two much more than book one. The characters have learned a lot and several plotlines are resolved while others start up.

2nd in the series: We return to Colorado where the lives of the Potluck ladies are undergoing various trials. This book is a good read - dealing with relationships, struggling with the past, and being an encouragement to each other. Also - lots of recipes!

Cute but silly & brainless like the first one of the series. Good clean light reading between serious books!
