my first every manga and my first Hayao Miyazaki film. Truly a wonderful and beautiful creation, an enchanting world and characters that touch your heart. This has to be my favorite Miyazaki work.

Hm...read this one over the summer but forgot to add it to Goodreads. The last book in this series was definetly the best. The spooky theme of the book had an happy ending that left a nice touch on the manga series.

Beautiful tale! I hate for it to be over but so wonderfully done! I wish the ending had been a little bit different but I so loved this! Now on to the Studio Ghibli production!

Hayao Miyazoki!

Good, but just directly taking stills from the anime and turning them into a manga...it just doesn't work so well.

I'm very glad that I decided to read the manga version of one of Miyazaki's greatest works. It reminded me just how much I love his storytelling and the art of the Studio Ghibli.
