The heroine of this book is enough reason to read it: Felicity Trahan, Christian crisis hotline operator, strong independent woman. And did I mention she has cerebral palsy, yet is doing intensive physical therapy in an attempt to learn to walk?

Winnie, a caller, leaves disturbing messages for Felicity and she worries that someone may get hurt. Her roommate, Jolie, is then murdered and Jolie's boyfriend is immediately suspected. With the aid of her overprotective brother, Luc and his fiancee, CoC

Felicia was an annoying character to me. Too stubborn to the point of stupidity and I didn't like how she reacted to Spencer's confession. I also found the yes? At the end of every sentence repetitive and annoying. The killer I figure out well before everyone. BUT that said, I still really enjoyed this book and the writing was superb and seeing the characters from other books come back made me happy. I'll be sad to end this series!

I am really enjoying this author. I love the south Louisiana setting, the incorporation of Cajun culture and language, and the fearlessness of her primary female characters. These are not your typical Christian romance novels. They have plenty of mystery and suspense. This one in particular had quite a bit of violence and a couple of well done action scenes. I'm looking forward to more from Robin Caroll!

Enjoyed reading - it is one of those stories, you just don't want to put the book down - a mystery that keeps you guessing along with all the Southern charm of south Louisiana. Look forward to reading more by this author.

When her room-mate is murdered, Felicia has to decide where to put her trust. Part of series but still good as a separate book. Christian writer.
