Heartbroken Lady Jenova vows to marry again because it has been two years since her husband’s death, but she refuses to marry for love. She asks her prominent friend, Lord Henry, for help. It was alright but I would not read it again. Its not neccessary to read.

I don't generally read medieval Historicals, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The author managed to utilize tropes in a sideways manner that left me very satisfied with the story. Every time I'd feel myself start to get riled up (at this point I've come to expect lazy shortcuts from authors) she'd take me back to impressed within two pages. Very well-written, I'd like to read this author again.

This takes place in the 1070s. It is predictable: friend comes to help, they are trapped together, find passion and part, find each other and overcome all.
