The "edgy and erotic" (Shannon McKenna, New York Times bestselling author of Tasting Fear) author of Tie Me Down and Full exposure offers another steamy novel of sex, lies, and sultry games.

Burned once too often, true crime writer Lacey Richards has sworn off love. Instead, she explores her deepest desires through her anonymous- and very provocative-blog. Anonymous, that...more

3 ½ stars – Romantic Suspense/Erotica

I was interrupted a lot while reading this, and I've read a few things since then, so my recap memory is kind of foggy. I really liked the hero, former stockbroker turned carpenter, Byron (especially his oral enthusiasm and skills...he eagerly gives his lover lots of pleasure and multiple orgasms), but the heroine Lacey was really whiny, annoying, and TSTL. It’s got verrry steamy sex, including a smokin’ hot exhibition/voyeur mutual masturbation scene on oppo...more

Have you ever heard of the saying "never judge the book by its cover"? Well, it holds true for this book. It was the cover (and the nicely put blurb) that influenced me in purchasing this book. Sadly, the content was unable to rise to the challenge.

It seemed as if the author couldn't decide whether to write a thriller or an erotic story, so she basically decided to slap the two together and hoped for the best.

I love my thrillers and I love my erotica-content books, even better when they mix. But...more

Tease Me is a fast-pasted erotic thriller that has just enough spice to keep the story interesting but does not detract from the suspense of the main storyline. I enjoyed the fact that this was not a run-of the mill erotic romance and instead, was a sophisticated erotic thriller that offered more than just a few quick sexual dalliances.

Byron, an awol stock broker, has gone to New Orleans to start fresh as a carpenter. He finds himself intrigued by the mysterious author of the blog, What A Girl W...more

My Review:
Whoa this book was really amazing! It was extremely HOT as you would expect an erotic book to be, but it also was full of suspense and really incredibly deep characters which created a wonderful romantic story line.

Lacey and Byron live in the same apartment complex in New Orleans. Lacey is there to write an true-crime story about an infamous madame and prostitution ring. Byron moved there from NYC after deciding that he didn't need the stress any longer from his 7 figure stockbroker li...more

Hot erotic thriller! Good but not the best!
In my opinion, instead of a 3*, it could have gotten a 4* had the heroine not been soooooo annoying with her traumas and relationship hang-ups. It was really waaaay too much - if I wanted to shake some sense into her, imagine the poor guy. Furthermore, it could have gotten 5* had the "thriller" part been a little more developed, or better developed, because this way it just seemed too obvious, easy and too unbelievable to be true...
Overall though, thi...more

Was a tease which did not wholly deliver. Lacey and Byron are neighbors in New Orleans. It begins as a tease with Byron in heat over Lacey's sexual fantasy blog and not knowing his neighbor is behind it. Lacey is involved heavily in researching a story of a very well connected call girl ring.

The two story lines are great teases which are not developed - especially the book research. Her research gets her into sex trafficking and of course the danger there in from the players. Don't expect uber...more

It says something about my reading choices that I've reviewed many hundreds of books and have only now create a bookshelf for Contemporary Romance. Generally, I hate contemporary romance. It bores me. My interest in romance novels was born from an interest in fantasy and sci fi - if it's not paranormal romance, I just don't like it. So it's not really fair to take my word on it about this novel. Some people will love it. It has lots of sexual tension and explosive sex, plus a dangerous mystery t...more

Caught somewhere between a thriller and erotica (more heavily on the latter), Tease Me has a lot of steamy scenes just about anywhere you can think of. I'm more of a plot girl, so it wasn't very much for me. Lacey's fear of men got old fast, and after all the build up digging into the New Orleans crime scene, the turning point of the story where they meet the crime lord was resolved far too quickly.

Wow! I had no clue that this novel would be that interesting. I thought it'd just be another shortish novel with awesome kink scenes. I couldn't of been more wrong. It had everything a normal novel has in it, plus the kink. Totally worth the read!

I liked it pretty well and it actually has a spin off w/ a character who you meet 'briefly' toward the end. Not sure if I will read the next one or not though. I read this one in ebook format on my nook.

This was an okay read for me. Don't get me wrong the sex was hot, but the heroine went on
and on about her previous relationship.

Why is this so expensive for the e-book? $12.99 I may never read it.

Lacey and her trust issues, really can get to you. But a good read.

This was an amazing book. The steamy hot Sean's were great. Definitely not my last Wolff book.

Really good book, with a bit of suspense involved. But that was a lame aspect of the story. Lacey was a bit annoying with her "never again will I lose myself to a man" crap, but I guess one could understand where she was coming from. It got old especially when Byron was such a sweetie! Lot of smoking hot intense sex! Over all a 4.5 read.

I did enjoy this book just not as much as I thought I would. It has a good story line but Lacy is way too whiny. She puts all of her ex-boyfriend Curtis’s faults on Byron the poor guy doesn’t really stand a chance. It takes him getting shot for her to realize what she has. But overall it was pretty good.

Tracy Wolff collects books, English degrees and lipsticks and has been known to forget where—and sometimes who—she is when immersed in a great novel. At six she wrote her first short story—something with a rainbow and a prince—and at seven she forayed into the wonderful world of girls lit with her first Judy Blume novel. By ten she’d read everything in the young adult and classics sections of her...more
