Mildred is a newcomer to the storyline. This book focuses on her story, her challenges and assumed love interest. Mildred has a very low self esteem, a couple of friends. She has a really good job but lacks in other areas. She falls for Tony. Tony is caniving, manipulative and a womanizer. Okay, (i feel) this was not the best of Geneva Holliday. When I started the book I felt like 'this is just another sexy/drama filled novel.' As it progressed it got better...but not much.
It has your typical raunchy sex scenes and conniving storyline but it lacked substance. I felt like it could have had more twists and turns that weren't so predictable.

I got a copy of this book, and my daughter read it first, but I had to read it for myself, and I felt for Mildred. I would have been a bit skeptical when a man who didn't give me the time of day all of a sudden decides to. I would have definitely questioned his motives big time. OK I read it and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It was actually nice to read about Chevy and Geneva without the drama. I liked Mildred alot, but I really felt it needed a more final ending... like a beat down or face slapping scene:D!!
