This book was readable but there wasn't enough for me. I was expecting a little more description in the sex scenes because I felt like something was missing and the end was just too predictable. This was a really cookie-cutter plot line with perfect characters. They were each perfectly complicated and it didn't make for any surprises here.

Maybe I need to shift back into paranormal for awhile. Romance non-erotica is maybe too vanilla for me? Not that vanilla isn't exciting, but it's too easy for them to all sound alike. There's really nothing wrong with this book, but it didn't get my engine revving to where I really liked it. Everything was just okay. Characters? Okay. Plot? Okay. Sex? Okay. Which is just okay.

Author Tori Carrington is the penname of husband and wife writing team Lori and Tony Karayianni.

Hands down, penning a bio is always the most difficult writing challenge we take on. What do we say? What do we keep a secret? Considering we've been writing together for over twenty-two years...well, that reveals more about us than anything you'll likely read here. We're fiction writers simply because
