Whenever someone writes about e-commerce or any research involving websites, it is bound to be outdated even before it goes to print. In my current research, I have also been wary of any books published before 2010, because it's possible that the authors were unaware or unsure of how bad the economic collapse would be in 2008. Book is interesting in that it gives ideas on how to work at home either for yourself or working for an employer, due to computer technology, using e-mail, internet access, etc. The author does talk about the pros and cons of working at home. I have a friend who works at home as a medical coder and loves it.
