Kirsty and Rachel need to help Mia the bridesmaid fairy get her three magical items back from Jack Frost's goblins. This was another fun adventure from the team of writers that are known as Daisy Meadows.

M is obsessed with these books, so I had her pick one out for me to see what was going on in them. It did not take long to discover their appeal to her. There is nothing stand-out to recommend about this book/series--no awesome vocab or anything like that, but the plot lines clearly appeal to her in the same way that the Baby-sitter's Club, Nancy Drew, the Saddle Club, and other series chapter books appealed to me as a kid. Silly stuff, but very fun when you're five/six/etc.

I think that some times to get things that you can easily get scared when you go to Jack Frost`s Ice Castle, because the fairy's are so tiny. But I feel better when Rachel and Kirsty are fairy size too, or when Rachel or Kirsty plays a trick on Jack Frost, even though Rachel is pretty much only the one who does tricks. I`m saying that because Mia and the girls went in the castle!! Scary!! ...more
