It's interesting how in each book the character procures their name such as Iron man in this one and Ice Man in the previous one I've read per the author's creative imagination to writes these stories. This book goes more in depth with the BDSM scene and for those that don't care for it there's some scenes of multiple partners playing the role together. Not sure if it's because it's the second book by I got more of a rush reading this one or maybe it's the bondage which I get the thrill

Wonderful second book in the Blood Slaves series. Rafe and Adam are such beautiful characters and their loving relationship just jumps off the page right from the beginning. As in the first book, I really liked the author's style of writing and the angsty plot that had the MCs all twisted up inside. Glad they got their happy ending even if Adam had to sacrifice a little more of himself than he intended - I think Rafe will take good care of him, though, and they'll make a fabulous team.
My review cross-posted from Joyfully Reviewed:

Vampire Rafe Ramos knows that love cannot solve everything. He loves Adam Cross and Adam returned the feeling and happily served as Rafe’s blood slave, feeding his lover. But Rafe wanted more; he wanted Adam to become a vampire so that they could blood bond and spend eternity together. Unwilling to give up his humanity, Adam broke it off with Rafe and moved to Washington, D.C. to start a new life. But when Ada
This is the second installment in the blood slave series though truthfully the main human protagonist, Adam, is technically not a blood slave to his former vampire lover, Rafe. The story is one that begins in the middle or what seems like the end in some ways with references to explain what has gone before. It was not choppy because of this and actually worked well in this instance.

Rafe has just lost his mother who was the only tie he had left to the human world ever since his lover left him a y
Short but good story with some great sex scenes. I didn't feel as connected to the characters as a couple mainly because they kept having sex or make out scenes with others and that makes it hard for me to enjoy a story. I'm glad that things worked out for Rafe and Adam because I did like them as a couple when they acted like it, they were wonderful together.

This story was terrific. It continues the world of the vampires started in Iron Man . As far as past characters, Rowan makes a brief appearance, but Brett is only vaguely referred to. Theron plays a fairly large role again in this story. Rafe and Adam are the main characters and I really enjoyed getting to know them and seeing them overcome the problem with their relationship. More of the BDSM activities at the club are shown here than in the first book. I'm looking forward to learning more abou ...more

I bought this one from Books On Board.

I enjoyed the second book in this m/m vamp series. I liked the intensity of the sex and relationship between the main characters. I wish there had been better explanation of why Adam is called iron man - I felt like the 'hook' of the story was forgotten, or relegated to a very minor part of the story.
Short, but sexy. Not particularly complicated or complex characters, but very hot sex and still pretty entertaining.
Okay story, but didn't really feel the tension between Rafe and Adam.
