The book starts with the h on her way to an art show where she intends yo exact revenge on the H for something that happened 7 years earlier. We don't know what he did only that he took advantage of her youth and innocense.
The first chapter the flashes back to 7 years previous when she was 19 years old. I found that frustrating. I wanted to know what he did and what she's going to do. I was real tempted to skip ahead but I resisted. Good thing because the whole rest of the book is about that tim
