I enjoyed the start of this one, but it kinda lost my interest as it went on.

Was the cat real or magical?

Probably a bit too deep for my tastes.

This story offers an interesting 'alternative' look at the meaning of Christmas.

Joshua has come from a very religious background and even though he's now a member of a less 'strict' church, he still believes some sort of faith is important. When Joshua meets Jude, even the immediate attraction they both feel can't compensate for Jude's lack of some sort of religious belief. The jest of the story is easily understood but I think I overthought a few things and the significance dealing with the religious aspects were lost on me, making this a not so enjoyable read for me.
