Lissa Davies
A clever popup book showing urban growth using, what else? Popups! This wordless book allows students to watch a city grow before their eyes using clever premise. In the opening flap is a lonely church that stands in the middle of an orchard. Using a window, that church remains throughout the following urban growth. This window expands with each succeeding addition, showing how the city grows around what is already there.

A great book for social studies, especially grade 1. K-2

Clever and extremely simple - like a wordless LITTLE HOUSE in 3-D.
