Set in the town of Easie, Maine, somewhere between Rangeley and Errol, Christine is involved in a mild love triangle between an aging fly-fishing guide and the suave town veterinarian. The plot ranges from battered woman getting her life back, light romance, town portrait, and even dips its toe into race-relations of the '70s and the mob. Unfortunatly it does neither very well.
