Louisiana Lagniappe is a combination of three cook books

"Quelque Chose de Doux",

"Quelque Chose Piquante", and

a Christmas cook book,


It's the work of three friends from South Louisiana, two of whom are writers (one for the Opelousas Daily World) and an artist.

It's a decent, self published cook book, that I purchased from the outdoor French Market in the NOLA French Quarter right before Kartina. The problem with this book is it also has a lot of non NOLA southern dishes like Tennessee Chicken...more
