Here is what I wrote in April 2004 when I finished the last book in the series:
FINALLY – the last one! As usual, I read this book in about 2 days. The suspense and eagerness to “see what happens next” keeps the pages turning, but not because it is the best writing in the world. I don't have the gift set but I do have all the books and this is one of the best series I've ever read. Once I picked them up I couldn't put them down. It's almost exactly how I picture the end times. It was very easy for me to put faces with the characters in my mind and to imagine everything they went through. Every year I say I'm going to re-read this series but I know I'll want to read them all straight through again and I've just not had time.

I read all but the last two books. They were absolutely incredible in the beginning but in all honesty they introduced too many characters and I could NOT get them all straight. It got confusing and started frustrating me so I quit reading them. Too much of a good thing for me. ALTHOUGH I believe in the rapture and loved the first few books. Jesus is coming again, and we'd better be ready.*
On a whole, I loved this series. Put aside the whole 'religious' side of this story...I know, I know...but put it aside and this series is just a great story, with great characters. There are a ton of characters and you never get confused as to who they all are and where they are. I would definitely add this to my 'read again' list.
I was very entertained by the whole series. I couldn't get through each book fast enough. They really will scare you a little bit and get you thinking about the end times and the book of revelation. I thought they were written very well and easy to understand.
These were pretty good up to I think it was Assassins, then it just kinda felt like they were just fullfilling their contracts. But they have to be listed as good books because my husband actually read them all! (the original 12) He even finished before me.
I read this series a few years ago and couldn't put them down and would have to wait for the next book. I did put less stars because the anticipation was gone and I never finished the last book.
One of my best friends Jim Lagnese gave me this book to read and once I began to read I couldn't put it down. I read all 15 books in this series. Wonderfully written and researched. Loved every one.
I have read the first 4, and want to read the last two. I just haven't yet. These are great books. Very hard to put down once you start reading.
This is a set in am proud to own and will definatly be reading again. It's action packed and full of all the heroism that one could hope for.
The entire series must be read in order. Really makes you think about what will happen and convicts you to not left anyone be left behind.
Have read all the books in the series a few years ago and was waiting for the last one. Am looking forward to reading it!

I enjoyed reading this book, though I personally would classify it as "Horror," because it scares the shit out of me.

Finally taking the time to read this series. First 6 done and now I'm hooked...On to #7.
This series is a story of events of what it may be like leading up the the second comming of Christ based on the book of Revelation. They are action packed and really exciting books to read. Both men & women would enjoy these books.
FYI-Don't even waste your time with the movie, it is not good...as always the books are better.

This series of books really peaked my curiosity and quite frankly scared me a little!!!! The bible, God, end of times...all of those things scare the crap out of me! These books were very interesting and I could not turn the pages fast enough. I love a good scare, especially when it comes to the unknown and higher powers.
I must admit that I was thoroughly entertained by this series. Though about book 4 I decided that Christ should just hurry up and come down from heaven already. Overall, the series is way too long and could have been better if they did it as a trilogy instead of this epic series.
For those who can overlook religious overtones; this book series (over 12 books in total) leads people into the time when people in mass numbers disappear off the face of the earth and wreak havok on those who are left behind. The repented await the second coming of Christ
This set is not all of them, but I didn't want to put each book on my list seperately. I LOVED this series & would still be reading them faithfully if they weren't done. Although the ending did leave me satisfied & glad that I'd read them all..
i liked the stories, they were suspenseful. but the writing was horrible, i felt like i could have written it better. some of the interactions were really cheesy, too. still, it makes you think about the end times.
This is a religious fiction however it is based on the book of Revelations and it as awesome intrepration of the end of days and the coming of Christ. Awesome adventure, action packed thriller.
I really enjoyed this series. It is a series of books that can be enjoyed by everyone, not just Christians. They are full of adventure, intrigue and faith.
Yes, this is a fictional account as far as characters go. But as close as you can get to what future events are and how they will unfold.
Such an interesting concept, yet written so badly I was actually routing for the antichrist because the protagonists were so annoying!
A must read, I have mine on a shelf she if the Rapture happens in my time. Those who are left behind can find the books with Bibles.
These are easy reads and is a great story of the end of times. It is based off of the book of Revelations with a literary plot added.
An awesome series everyone should read. It definitely gets you thinking about the end times and your relationship with Christ.

Great series! Some of the political intrigue went right over my head but I understood most of it.
