Cameron Cochran only took this case to clear his name, but working with Tess Bradshaw is throwing a curve in his chance to get back his name in the workforce. He never expected to find this woman attractive nor care for her after his last relationship. Not exactly bad, but not exactly good either. The H/h had absolutely no chemistry, I found myself barely following the suspense subplot (though it wasn’t exactly suspense, there were hardly any dead bodies to be found), I think it was slightly tied in with a previous book I’ve read, but I still found it "interesting" enough to keep reading. Then the author threw a hurricane in the mix of it all (the most badly-hidden filler I’ve ever read about) and everything went to posh.
