Heart Song is a short story that puts a lot in game. Rafe and Charlie were a May and December couple, and plus there was also a difference in social status, being Rafe only a policeman and instead Charlie a wealthy businessman. But Rage really loved Charlie, and since he loved him so much, he had to leave the older man: he felt that that Charlie didn't love him as much as he loved him, there was always something or someone else that kept a big share of the man's heart. When Rage left Charlie for...more

Charlie, though he cared for Rafe, had been emotionally unavailable, causing Rafe to walk away for the last time. At the funeral, a young man catches Rafe's eye; he's kicking himself for fin...more

Maybe 2.5. I was just not all that comfortable with the speed of sleeping together and the immediate forever, right after the funeral.

Jambrea wanted to be the youngest romance author published, but life impeded the dreams. She put her writing aside and went to college briefly, then enlisted in the Air Force. After serving in the military, she returned home to Indiana to start her family. A few years later, she discovered yahoo groups and book reviews. There was no turning back. She was bit by the writing bug.
