Here is a book about a brother and sister made by a brother and sister. A lot of people don't write this way or draw this way. Christy showed Ryan a drawing, the first one of the fish and baited hook, and Ryan, flattened, decided to turn it into a story. It's POCKET FINGER.

Chilling and brilliant. Ryan Call can say more in 500 words than many authors can in 500 pages.

In an unclear post-apocalyptic future (that could have occured last month or a generation ago), two children struggle to care for a feeble, bed-ridden mother and a father on the verge of mental collapse as he struggles to feed his family.

Call's words are accompanied by haunting line drawings that perfectly match the tone of the story. Click on the url listed on the description page of this chapbook. O
