This book is an excellent book for making papercraft automata.

The book includes pull-out cardstock sheets to construct the four models on the cover, as well as for a variety of cams and crank mechanisms that can be used for your own models.

There is a section with pictures of various automata created by the author, as well as a collection from high school students. Keisuke Saka's automata are attractive and whimsical.
