This is a remarkable collection of short stories that delves into the hearts and minds of characters from starkly contrasting backgrounds. The writing is strong and vivid, at times dark, at times funny, but it is always energetic, innovative and insightful. Dorene O'Brien has a gift for confronting complexities that arise in life, love, relationships. Personally, I can't wait to read more of her wonderful fiction!
