Quick read that could have easily (and probably should have been) expanded into a full length (as it was, it was over 30 pages shorter than most SEs). Interesting take on a well-known trope: scarred hero has feelings for heroine, but doesn't feel worthy of her. But where this one differs is Jenny is going through her own medical issues (a possibly-cancerous lump in her breast), and the correlation between this issue and Liam's difficulty reconciling his physical limitations with his worth as a m ...more
