O Anjo Mudo de Al Berto lembrou-me as Iluminações e Uma Cerveja no Inferno de Rimbaud. Enquanto a prosa/poesia de Rimbaud é o retombar de um trovão, a de Al Berto é a água que corre, às vezes de mansinho num rio, outras velozmente numa queda de água. Foi engraçado que após ter feito esta comparação para mim mesmo, deparei-me com um texto na quarta parte em que Rimbaud era o sujeito.

Porque podemos percorrer cidades, paisagens, lugares e o tempo. Mas nunca poderemos fugir de nós próprios!
Um livro cheio de pequenas narrativas ao estilo do grande Al Berto. "No Anjo Mudo" a história é contada a viajar onde o leitor é transportado na própria viagem.

Bravo Al berto. Bravo!

Al Berto, pseudonym of Alberto Raposo Pidwell Tavares, was a poet, painter, editor and cultural worker.

He was born in an high class burgeois family (with english origins from his grandmother). A year later he moved to Alentejo and in Sines he gets through all his childhood and teenagehood until his family sent him to the arts school António Arroio in Lisbon.
