I liked this book, because it gave me a better understanding of some matters basic to doing statistical analyses, including the question that is the book's title. I would assume that most people have no interest or need to learn about this topic, and so would understandly not be interested in the book.

Other issues covered included descriptive statistics and which ones are appropriate to which data sets, hypothesis testing, statistical power, the perils of multiple comparisons, and More...
