Dominic's hair is long and short, curly and straight, and it all needs a haircut. But Dominic won't sit still for one. Not in a plane chair or a car chair. A frustrated mother finally gives up and decides she'll try again another day.

Unappealing boy-child razzes when his hairdresser mother tries to crop his mop, so she gives him a big cuddle. Obviously a case of real life transferred direct to kids' book with zero authorial mediation, which as usual results in indulgent irrelevance. Half a star for smart typography.
