The heroine in this story drove me crazy. She believed her brother innocent no matter what evidence was put up against him and was very mean to the hero who was simply trying to bring her brother to justice, which was his job. Cliche. Contrived. The worst. Couldn't even finish it, although I did seek out the love scene which was nothing less than weak porn and made me want to throw the book across the room. It's unfortunate because Gentry's other books might be good, but its doubtful I'll waste my time or my money.

A wonderful book. Filled with fact, fiction and love.

I could not put this book down. The story is fiction but is filled with many historical facts. Talako and Koi Chito were certainly men of honor.
