This screenplay was adapted from Stephen King's novel by the same name. It is an excellent read to see what scenes he found were inportant and could be filmed.
I read this in high-school as an assignment from my english teacher and then we watched the movie and it was great . I remember she said we could keep it and I regret that I didn't . I want to find a copy and buy it. I want to start a collection of all my favorite movies screenplays .
This is one of my favorite movies. I read this book to learn how to write a screenplay. Love the two forwards and revisiting the astounding project!

I'm reading this a second time just to make sure I know what I'm doing with my script I'm writing.

Gorgeous screenplay- truly impressed by Frank Darabont's attention to the camera and his ability to weave such a gorgeous tale that never forgets that it's also a film. Loved reading this

The powerful scenes inspired me to think about trying a screen play. Stephen Kings characters are so believable.
