Alex Rider Ark Angle by Anthony Hotowitz is the sixth book in the Alex Rider series. The series has eight books. Alex Rider Ark Angle and all of the other books are action mystery books. Alex Rider is a fourteen year old who is an undercover spy who works for the special operations in England, MI6. A sniper bullet almost killed him but, at the hospital, he wants to freshen up at night and is kidnapped by eco terrorists, who think he is a billionaires’ dad. Alex Rider is a very brave man but I th...more

In the book Ark Angle it was about an English schoolboy who was only 14 years old. He was recruited into the MI6 British secret intelligence; they are sort of like CIA but a British version. The story seems to sort of have 2 different stories to it but it is still one story. In all the books they take place in London the main characters name is Alex Rider, in the begging of the book he tends to all ways make trouble and in the middle of the book he ends up being safe and at the last 40 pages he...more

I think that ark angel is my favorite book in the whole Alex Rider series. In Ark Angel Alex is recovering from his bullet wound from a sniper working for Scorpia. A boy in the hospital room right next to him is about to be captured by 3 armed men and Alex cleverly knocks them all out, then the boys father a rich billion, named Drevin (I read this book like a month ago and forgot his first name). The men come back later and capture Alex mistaking him for Drevins son who they were sent to kidnap....more

The book Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz is a great adventure book. This book is about a fourteen year old boy named Alex Rider who works for MI6. While Alex is in the hospital recovering from being shot in the chest, he saves a boy named Paul Drevin, a billionaire’s son from a gang called force three. Mr. Drevin asks to meet up with Alex, so he can reward him for saving Paul. Alex accepts the offer of staying with Paul and his father for two weeks. While Alex is with them he learns that Mr. Drevi...more

Teen spy Alex Rider is recovering from a gunshot wound in a private hospital when thugs burst in meaning to kidnap the boy in the next room. Wanting to protect the son of wealthy Nikolai Drevin, Alex takes his place. The bad guys, who don’t know one kid from another, forcibly take Alex to a deserted warehouse. There they await a response to their ransom demands. But Alex isn’t one to sit idly by, especially when the thugs threaten to cut off one of his fingers and send it to Drevin as proof they...more

This book was okay. I feel like we've seen the evil multibillionare before (hmm . . . Alex seems to have even mentioned a certain Damian Cray in considering Drevin's offer), although the space element was new.

Oh, and what was with Alex's language? I've already read the next book and I feel like Horowitz was trying to make Alex seem mature and cool or whatever. Hey, it just seemed cheesy and lame to me, but maybe I just got tired of reading the three words "single ugly swearword." Honestly. Mayb...more

I just finished Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz, the 6th book in the Alex Rider series. While the book held my attention and was quite enjoyable, I found the book somewhat predictable. Perhaps, this is because I am now 6 books into the series and I've read a ton of spy thrillers, but the stories have become somewhat formulaic. That doesn't make this a bad read, but it does take some of the surprise out of the plot twists. I don't want to spoil the book because i think it's a good read, but most of...more

Ark Angel is the 6th Book in the Alex Rider Series. It is fiction, and it is also 323 pages.

Alex Rider was shot in the shoulder outside the offices of MI6 by Scorpia. Alex Rider awakens in a top-secret hospital, called St. Dominic’s. But somehow Alex is in danger again in the hospital, and when the boy in the next room, Paul Drevin, is the victim of a kidnapping attempt, and Alex saves him, only to be kidnapped himself. The man who planned the kidnapping was Nikolei Drevin, the wealthiest man in...more

In this book Alex is 14 years old. The book begins with him in the hospital (evidently the fallout from something at the end of book 5). In short order, he's disabled 4 men and then is kidnapped by a 5th while Alex is trying to prevent the kidnapping of the patient in the room next to him. He almost has a finger chopped off, must escape a burning building from a locked room, almost gets killed in a vicious go-cart race, sees the death of a big-time soccer star, has a secret meeting with the CIA,...more

This is the sixth book in the Alex Rider series. I haven't read any of the others (I usually hate starting in the middle of a series). We happened to pick it up somewhere fairly cheaply and I thought I'd see what the fuss was about.

Alex Rider is essentially "young James Bond." So, if you imagine an old James Bond movie without the love interest/sex, then you have Alex Rider.

In this book he's 14 years old. The book begins with him in the hospital (evidently the fallout from something at the end o...more

It’s an action packed book with a lot of suspense. It’s about Alex rider a 14 year old child that works with the m16 that gets shot in the heart. Luckily he gets saved, but encounters an eco-terrorist force who wants to kidnap the son of the multi-billionaire nikolei Drevin, they kidnap instead, him. Thought they selected a 14 year old for one reason: he was good very good. After knocking all of the force three workers he walks toward the hospital door but then he remembers the driver, but it w...more

Alex Rider had barely survived a sniper's bullet. Then the terrorist group Force Three comes and tries to take away Paul Drevin, Nickolai Drevin's son. Nickolai has just come up with the idea for the space hotel Ark Angel. Force Three is completely against Drevin. the fight becomes a different level when Alex Rider finds out the truth.

Alex Rider seems to be a regular kid, but his truth is that he is a teenage super spy. Both he and Nickolai Drevin are shy people. There are some big differences....more

Ark Angel, by Anthony Horowitz, is one of my most favorite books in the Alex Rider series because it shows how an environmental protection terrorist organization plans to protect the space environment even if they have to send tons of molten glass and steel back to Earth. Alex Rider has to protect the son of a multimillionaire who established a space hotel. He must also find a way to stop the organization, even if their destination is space itself.
I really like this book because I am personall...more

"Ark Angel" is the sixth book in the Alex Rider series. Alex Rider, a 14 year-old spy, was recently targeted by Scorpia for dismantling there organization. In the book Ark Angel, Alex Rider is suffering from a bullet wound that came centimeters away from puncturing his heart. But even in the hospital, danger still manages to find Alex, when a gang named Force Three breaks into the hospital looking for a boy named Paul Drevin, who just happens to be the son of Nikolai Drevin - one of the richest...more

Here is a list of all the best alex rider novels.

1- Ark Angel: Since 1979's Moonraker, sending spies up in space was almost a taboo. But in the sixth edition of the AR series, Horowitz has made it sensational to read and even more fantastic to imagine. Major thumbs up, the best!

2- Point Blanc (or Blank, depending where it was released): An ingenious plot. Usually cloning would be a rather overlooked thing, but it was pitched perfectly in this book. Especially the fight at the end, absolute gold!...more

This book is about Alex Rider, a 14 year old boy who is a teenage James Bond. Alex works for MI6, the British government's version of our CIA. As with a James Bond story, this book has action that is fast paced and easy to flow along with. From a hospital in London to New York City to the Caribbean to orbit around the earth, Alex encounters, challenges, and outwits the "bad guys," out to kill millions and/or destroy the earth.

Although this book is one in a series of stories about Alex Rider, it...more

So last week my granddaughter comes home from 5th grade and says "I got you a book from my school library". I explained that I had a lot to read but thanked her for thinking of me. The look on her face was too much (they sure know what buttons to push) so I said that I thought I could work it in. Big print...yes!!!!

Of my two granddaughters, she is NOT my big reader, so I was surprised. Maybe they read it in class, but she couldn't or wouldn't say why this particular book. After my comments left...more

Through out this story I think the author is trying to say how money can't buy you happiness. Nikolai Drevin has over a billion dollars but then he also has a son who has health probelms and doesn't have any friend. I think of this because through out this story this Rich Man had everything but he was stressing out and at the end he lost everything and nearly someone close to him. The rich man(Nikolai Drevin) in this story was building something huge but it turned out to be impossible which woul...more

Over the summer, I read the book Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz. This book, in my opinion, is it is superb. I think out of all the other books in the series, this one has been my favorite one not only because of the action but all your questions you may have had in the beginning of the book would surely be answered later on.

Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz is the sixth book in the wonderful Alex Rider series. Having read the previous five, I thought that Ark Angel is one of the best ones so far. The beginning of the novel starts with Alex, who is an intelligent teen spy, in the hospital after being shot. In the hospital he meets a boy whose father is a very rich and powerful man named Nikolei Drevin. Then a group of men come in to the hospital trying to kidnap Alex's new friend but instead they mistakingly kidnap Alex...more

Ark Angel is a great book. Its fills are heads with the most outragous things you could think of. When you read this book you think to yourself about how much stuff suddenly happen just in time. All the for the somewhat cheezyness, the book will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This book relates to not only me, but many peoples lives. This book practically defines the hero we all wish we could be. The looks, the hair, the muscles, its what we all want.

I would definatly recommend this book to...more

Another enjoyable Alex Rider adventure. I especially liked the beginning when Alex fights off the kidnappers in the hospital. I think it very unlikely that Alex would be up to all the stuff he does in this book just ten+ days after nearly being killed by a bullet to the chest, but then, he IS Alex Rider. P.s., I'd just like to mention that I had a feeling that the reason he survived the shooting would have something to do with the fact that he is a child rather than an adult, and I was right!

This is one of the best books spy enthusiasts will ever read. Im serious ive been a long term Alex Rider fan for awhile now and this book has espionage and betrayel at evry cover. You won't want to stop reading until the last page. The day you get it (if you get it which I highly reccomend you do) Youll see exactly what I Mean. Reccommended for Ages About 11-18 no Lower though theres a graphic death at the end of the book.

Another outstanding book by Anthony Horowitz. his creativity will never stop amazing me. If I were to pick out a few things in the book that really stood out to me it would be when Horowitz mentions that the CIA tried to do the kid spy thing before but were unsuccessful. This is because there is no one who would be better suited to be a spy then Alex. The training that he unconsciously went through and the fact that it is in his blood makes him more than qualified. The ironic thing about it all...more

Anthony Horowitz is perhaps the busiest writer in England. He has been writing since the age of eight, and professionally since the age of twenty. In addition to the highly successful Alex Rider books, he is also the writer and creator of award winning detective series Foyle’s War, and more recently event drama Collision, among his other television works he has written episodes for Poirot, Murder...more
