This is the companion workbook for Nonviolent Communication. It provides exercises for each chapter, along with a study group leader's guide, with ideas for exercises to do in a group. It's a straightforward workbook, with good questions and exercises. Recommended if you want to deepen your study of NVC.
I tend to gravitate toward non-fiction. A friend recommended this book after learning of the idea of non-violent communication. Subtitle: Create your life, your relationships and your world in harmony with your values. Nice book for reminders or new ideas for how to speak in ways that get you what you want without doing so at the expense of others.
A needed resource at a stressful time in my parenting career. NVC is a welcome alternative to the madness that so often befalls me when dealing with two little ones.
The tools in this book are slowly changing my life for the better.
Good handholding for group study.
