Maybe Kelly Greenwood shouldn't have been so...honest when she lambasted NASCAR pretty boy Trent Matheson on national TV. All the sports psychologist wanted was to give a memorable sound bite. But maybe she took it too far?

Because now Trent's team wants Kelly to devise a plan to whip their on-again, off-again racing star into shape.

There's just one hitch—Trent doesn't thin...more

Kelly Greenwood is a sports psychologist. After bashing the favorite hometown driver on TV she is hired by his brother to work on getting the guy back into focus and on winning races. First she needs to convince the driver he needs her, easier said than done. Kelly really needs this job, especially after what happened at her last one.

Trent Matheson is not happy about having Kelly as his minder and plans to dump her as soon as possible. He has secr...more
This is the third Harlequin NASCAR book I've read, and I can't figure out why the authors always make the drivers total jerks. I really can't believe that every NASCAR driver is an egotistical jerk. Other than that, the story was okay. I *will* be hunting down the books about Trent's brothers to see what happens to them.

So I actually liked this one too, embarassing as that is. Whatever, you can read it in one airport-flight-layover-flight-metro trip from MN to DC, and it's cute and has likeable characters. But it is what it is, a NASCAR romance novel. Don't expect anything else.
as a Gaines story, it's nice it is entertaining but some spark are missing
Quick, cute and hey what can i say, its NASCAR!

I write funny, tender romance novels for Harlequin Superromance and Love Inspired Historical.

My next book to be released is That New York Minute, out in April 2012.

I like to set aside some of my writing time for experimental projects - I'm currently trying my hand at a humorous women's fiction novel, and I also finished a Young Adult manuscript.
