A short series of poems where the title repeats in each line, building associations,
ie: "Throat"
"The throat is the history of what has been said
The throat shows only one movie: "The Tongue"
The throats of angels are lined with gold"

It's witty, charming, and playful. It's also a very pretty book, with atlas-like illustrations, which fits well in your hands.

This is the most ridiculous poetry ever & I mean that in the best way. Very, very original and good for the child in you. HOW could it be that Mark Strand wrote this? I find his stuff quite buttoned-up and this is anything but.
