If I want a quick pick-me-up to help me take an optimistic view in life, Norman Vincent Peale's books are a good place to start. This one is full of great quotes and stories to help you realize what a vital power enthusiasm and optimism can be in your life. A former preacher, I like how Peale uses the Bible as well as other great minds to throughout the book to emphasize his views.

If I could give this book ten stars I would. In fact, I'm seriously considering reading it again. It made me think, it made me laugh, it made me cry for joy. It had some really good practical advice for bringing joy into your life. I recommend this book with all my heart.
