I was not impressed with this book, but I found that it did have some nice ideas for folks who might be struggling to think of ways to interact with their younglings. Many of the activities were repetitive, and the poems/lullabies at the end were not as well done as they could have been. Also, as an education writer, you learn not to take certain things for granted in a child's/family's life, and many of MacGregor's ideas assume a great deal.
