Dr. Ivan R. Misner is the founder of BNI, so I had some expectations of the book going in. BNI is such a traditional leads environment. People are polished, they've got their spiel down pat,they loved the group projects in business school.

Ivan Misner definitely deserves the title he deserves. His ideas and books will help create that referral business you've always dreamed of.
This book taught me some basic body language rules I did not know. Via diagrams. It also had pithy ideas that really helped me in terms of making small talk with new people. It is written for the independent small business owner but it was very helpful for me, someone who missed learning social cues in my development.
